Description:

This common beetle has been absent for the last rainless month. Yesterday was raining and today there are eggs everywhere.

Thanks Alice and Yuko Usually in summertime they can have two generations but I do think they will hide away if it is too wet or too cold or too dry
Sounds like they have a seasonal plan, kind of like Rain Lilies that will not bloom without real rain!
