Nature Hero is a new Project Noah program that spotlights and elevates an exceptional person or non-profit working to save and protect biodiversity. Through this program, we direct our wildlife community towards helping this person or non-profit's conservation efforts!

How does Nature Hero work?
- Each year Project Noah selects a new person or small non-profit to be our official Nature Hero. Project Noah then directs the power and reach of our Wildlife Community towards fundraising, action and awareness of selected non-profit over the course of the year
- Selected Nature Hero is highlighted on this landing page and through social media posts
- Project Noah does not formally request anything in exchange for this goodwill annual campaign
What is the goal of Nature Hero?
Nature Hero highlights and surfaces special persons or non-profits doing powerful conservation work. Our ultimate goal is to magnify impact and make a real difference in the selected Hero's programs and activities.
Does Nature Hero focus on any particular person or non-profits?
Project Noah does not have strict criteria when selecting our annual Nature Hero. We are broadly interested in selecting one that engages in:
- Local, on-the-ground conservation work
- Small, community-engaged non-profits
- Outcome-focused wildlife conservation work
- Engagement with local communities
- Nature learning and nature education programs
- New and innovative conservation programs that positively impact local stakeholders
