This project is designed for the students at Connect Community Charter School to explore the wildlife in their urban setting. Parents, please assist young naturalists discover and record their observations using a smart device. There are very few perimeters for this group. Just find something interesting, point, shoot, and click. Please remember to be respectful and safe before snapping any shots. Do not walk on peoples property to get a cool shot. Also remember to be aware of where you are and don't go out without an adult.
Basic Suggestions for plants:
Take more that one shot-- this gives everyone a better idea of your plant or animal.
-Take a close up shot.
-Take a super close up shot.
-Try to get one shot with all or most of the plant
-Don't forget the underside
-Get a shot of the stem or the bark.
Reminders For Animals:
-Please be remember to be respectful of their space. These animals need their space bubble too!
Other than that, there is no restriction. Just have fun and be safe!!
