We will begin a catalogue of the wildlife in Phelps Township for the Phelps Outdoor Education Program.

Let's get familiar with the Project Noah App and what we can do with it. Our goal is to introduce it to our future Phelps Outdoor Education Classroom and Trail System. Your first mission is to find different species of plants and/or animals in the area around our school. You will then enter "spottings" to begin a catalogue of local wildlife. To begin, take various pictures of the things living in our environment; later, you will choose one or two to record a description about. I will be giving you that information at that time. You are permitted to explore the entire school yard, the pond/forest area (with supervision), and the deep dark forest. Try to record images of different tree species, plant life, mammals, insects and any other biotic organisms. Remember, our big goal is to catalogue as much of the wildlife in Phelps Township as possible. Have fun, and make sure you have your eyes peeled and your senses heightened.
