As engaged and aware citizens in a technological world it is important to take an active role in your ecological awareness. Living in Colorado we have habitats that are constantly threatened with being altered because of human exposure and overuse. Our class will look to curb this trend by engaging in a semester-long experience to create some tangible change in our local environment. etc.......
In this section we could have step by step instructions for particular parts of the unit...For example:
We will spend the next 3 class periods working with the assisstants in the library to research and seek out opportunites to solve a real-world problem. Students will identify a problem, go through resources to better understand the background/history of the problem, and then begin to brainstorm possible courses of action to solve the problem...
**once again, we could set these up however we would like, but I do like the technological component this site offers. Furthermore, it seems to be easily accessible, from the teacher side, and could offer nice structure for a project like ours...**
