Field Notes

Notes:

Can anyone help me identify this? Sorry, I have no knowledge of insects, but it seems to me like maybe a moth or ladybird pupa. I'm guessing! It was about 15mm long and seemed perfectly symmetrical, although when I look closely at the photo I can see the barest whispers of some sort of feelers or something at the left end. It was stuck to the back of a leaf of some curly parsley in a pot on my balcony. I had already eaten some for lunch, so I hope this was the only one ;)

Species ID Suggestions

Ichneumonid Wasp (pupa)

Charops anulipes Ashmead, 1890
