Field Notes

Description:

A medium sized moth (20 mm/.75 in wingspan). It is a light tan with few markings on the wings. There are slight dark bars on the front of the wings which lead to very faint stripes across the wings.

Habitat:

This moth was found on the front door of our house in residential Omaha.

Notes:

This is probably an angle moth, perhaps Macaria aemulataria, but it is almost devoid of markings.
