Description:

AKA Germander Flea Beetle with their size measuring at 5 mm. There range is Texas, Louisiana and Mexico with 16 spp. of Capraita north of Mexico. Adults are found year-round in Central Texas and host plant grows in mesic areas. Canada germander - Teucrium canadense (Lamiaceae) and small coastal germander - Teucrium cubense are food sources for these Flea Beetles.

Thanks, RiekoS... It seems that this is more towards the Genus Systena, but I can't find any with 8 spots. The hind leg mass looks to fit the genus too. ")
