Description:
Really torn on this one... looks to me like pear or cherry blossoms. The sawtooth edge of the thin, elliptical leaves should be a hint for someone, but I can’t figure it out. These are new growth shrubs/trees? That look like they may be a year or two old. Full sun area in mulchy/acidic soil. Nestled in between a giant wax myrtle a large pine tree, and oaks. Looks like it either volunteered from some droppings or blew in from the tornado 2 years ago.
I do have a single, self pollinating plum tree in my back yard, but right now the leaves don’t look similar
