Field Notes

Description:

An adult Grasshopper, moments after ecdysis.
I tried to film the molt, but as I waited another specimen starts, a bat eat it. Here is the specimen eaten by the bat before ecdysis [ http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/115956654 ] (I can't photograph the bat eating it)

Habitat:

I found this specimen in a Canebrak, on an environmental reserve of Atlantic Forest.

Notes:

After the ecdysis, the Grasshopper starts to eat the old exoskeleton.
