Description:

Breathtakingly-beautiful! This winged-gem is a show-stopper with luminous jewel colors: black wings with white speckles, gorgeous, metallic, saffire-blue body with ruby red bottom and tiny white socks. Calm and friendly demeanor.

Habitat:

Found in South Miami Beach, in spring

Notes:

I'd so appreciate knowing more about this creature. It's an absolute work of art.

Yes, a Polka-Dot Wasp Moth. The caterpillars are orange with black hair. I used to find them eating my Yellow Mandevilla Vine.
This moth knows how to dress including its white socks.
