Wildlife Spotting

This tree has been in my parents' yard for at least 25 years, but no one knows what it is. It has a very wide spread, but does not seem to grow any taller year after year. Bumble bees like its little white flowers in spring. Tree was a cast off from Chicago botanic gardens.
