This looks like a type of Leaf Beetle. I am not familiar with the species in your area so I can't help you more at this time. I hope someone can help you find more info on this beautiful beetle! It is not a Ladybug (Lady Beetle, Ladybird) so I have removed it from the Lost Ladybug Project mission for you.
