Description:

Tiny white flowers, barely 1/8 in across, on a branching plant growing 8 to 12 in tall.

Habitat:

Pine forest with manzanita & bitterbrush

I don't think this a Cakile sp. My understanding is that they are mostly coastal plants and given the inferior ovary it seems unlikely to be in the Brassicaceae. I would suggest an Epilobium sp. in the Onagraceae family, but the the lack of cleft petals puts doubt in my mind.
