Field Notes

Description:

White stem peachy top no gills consistency of string cheese. Smells very savory and good.

Habitat:

Growing at the base of a dead tree stump. Many clusters surrounding the base. Woods in western north Carolina Appalachian mountains.

Notes:

I'm thinking it's chicken of the wood???
