Field Notes

Description:

Probably a prickleback or a gunnel. I find a lot of these eel-like fish under rocks at the beach in shallow puddles during low tide. Video of me turning over a rock and finding this fish and many other creatures: https://youtu.be/AP3qWI5h7xY

Habitat:

Found under a rock at low tide among many marine isopods and hermit crabs.
