Field Notes

Description:

A fuzzy/spiky caterpillar that was light yellow/lime green in color. It had yellow and black stripes on it. It was about 7 centimeters long. The hair/spikes was most likely there to keep enemies from eating it. Appears to have a sticky underside to be able to stick to the leaf. When I took the picture it did not move, so I think that it was trying to stay there unnoticed.

Habitat:

Singapore in a secondary tropical rainforest.
