Species ID Suggestions

Deceptive Sallow

Feralia deceptiva

Comments (4)

Feralia deceptiva was my best guess as well but I completely agree about the black lines, which is why I didn't commit to it. I didn't have time to look more closely. I agree that submission for expert ID is a good idea.
I just haven't seen anything in the genus Feralia with such thick black lines.
ForestDragon, do you agree with Feralia deceptiva? Out of the six species, it seems to make the most sense. Lisa, I suggest submitting one of these photos to: http://www.butterfliesandmoths.org/to find an expert match.
Looks like one of these in Genus Feralia: http://bugguide.net/node/view/5511/bgpage
