Description:

Parasitic wasp laying eggs through its ovipositor. Found on a banana tree on some forested hills on the edge of the town of Sungaipenuh near the Kerinci Seblat National Park, Sumatra, Indonesia.

Thank you so much, Gordon! I suspected it was laying eggs, but the extra tube was a new sight for me. I guess it's pretty common with wasps as I read up on it more. Thanks for educating me!
This is a parasitic wasp that is ovipositing. The long black tube is the ovipositor. She also looks like she has a stinger, but I have no idea what this fascinating insect is, although I've just spent a half hour looking through field guides and on the internet. The closest I could get was the Pukapuka Ichneumon Wasp--see http://cookislands.bishopmuseum.org/species.asp?id=14221, but your subject isn't that. Fascinating..... Great photo!
