Field Notes

Description:

Its in a garden, notice the 'eyes' on the side. Its feeding on a pepper plant so it likes SW cuisine i guess. There are some eggs in the area. Is it a moth or butterfly?

Habitat:

The garden is like 2 x 10 foot plot with water every 2 days. There is tomatoe, pepper, watermelons and strawberry plant. Not using any pesticides and there are some lizards too.

Notes:

I like the eyes on the side, a defensive measure?
