Oh I just suggested an ID for Orgyia leucostigma, there is another spotting of almost the same caterpillar near by. @Alice, thanks, for your comment I was able to find the genus of these caterpillars with the "brushes" and finally could ID my spotting.
I think this is Orgyia leucostigma, but a confirmation would be helpful.
I have a very similar caterpillar spotting also, but there it clearly shows they have these hairs on the back... Still no idea what species or family it is. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/12732038
