Description:

Black, mid-size Dragon Fly with light or even orange understripes on abdomen.

Habitat:

South Shore Long Island, Suburban.

Notes:

There are more of this species of dragon fly in my yard this year than I have ever seen. Over the past week, the number of individuals has increased quite a bit.
