spotted in hammock area near the Indian River

Hrm...the pores appear to be too large for a P. tricholoma....and the stem doesn't match with the P. arcularius. I have no real idea, Nancy - sorry.

Thanks, Lars--but I'm stuck between polyporus tricholoma and polyporus arcularius. Opinion?

Reminds me instantly of Polyporus tuberaster and Polyporus alveolaris
