Field Notes

Description:

A variety of halwk moth caterpillar. Light brown with carpet markings along sides. Four blue with yellow edging spots on top of head.

Habitat:

Subtropical climate after recent rain. Eating leaves on grape vine in a surburban house yard. Grape vine growing in morning and late afternoon shade. Dragon Fruit which have recently flowered grow on one side of the grape vine and passion fruit grow on the other side of the grape vine.
