I rescued this little guy from the water meter box in the ground. Never seen this species before.

I assure you, I applied barely enough pressure to keep him from escaping - just long enough to immortalize him in photos. He hopped away quite unharmed. I've been catching these tiny frogs for nearly 40 years - never have had any injuries.
