The photo is fairly dark and so it is difficult to make out details, but the tail is very long and slender. It might be a Coachwhip snake (Masticophis flagellum). See http://www.flmnh.ufl.edu/herpetology/fl-guide/masticophisfflagellum.htm for more information. Just one more option to investigate.
it might be a Anerythristic (Black) Cornsnake. this is patterned as a normal Cornsnake but it lacks the red pigment in its skin.this leaves it colored black, white, and various shades of grey. might want to check it out..... thanks!!
