Field Notes

Description:

Deep red, circular fungus growing on dead wood. White ridge with concave red inner. The largest one in the picture is about an inch and a half in diameter.

Habitat:

Found in farmland near the border of Kerinci regency, Jambi province and Solok Selatan regency, West Sumatra province on the edge of the Kerinci Seblat National Park.
