According to bugguide.net, genus pseudopolydesmus is endemic to NA and has a flatter back. Genus polydesmus is introduced from Europe and more common in urban areas. I can't see the difference from the pictures.
Thank you Sarah, I was having trouble deciding on number of legs per segment. Do you have any suggestion on genus or species, having trouble there too?
