It is difficult to tell, but I am thinking I can just see some markings below the lateral groove, and it seems more slender than an eastern. But definitely Ophisaurus ssp.
What do you think, Lisa? I'm not really sure now; the photo is from such a distance. http://www.floridiannature.com/GlassLizards.htm At any rate it is a lizard rather than a snake.
