Field Notes

Notes:

Spotted on the wall of our house in Senec (Slovakia). It's light brown, the flash doesn't allow you to see the "real" colors, it makes it appear whiter. I tried to bring down the brightness of the photo to get a better outcome. It's a small moth and my camera is not able to focus on too small objects, this is the best I could get.

Looks very close, but check the head, looks different. Might also be necessary to check if it is really a Geometridae...
I am looking through the Geometridae moths, I found this: Small Dusty Wave (Idaea seriata), it could be it.
if you give me your email, I can send you my original shots if that helps.
I don't have a darker shot. It was on a white/grey wall and the moth was light colored as well and the flash made the whole photo very bright. I have already brought down the light, so that the wings are visible.
Most probably a Geometridae. Can you upload a larger size and a more dark one (need a little bit of phtoshopping...)?
