Description:

Ok so our initial ideas seem to be very wrong. What we thought was a chrysalis is still a fully moving caterpillar.

Chrysalis for what I suspect is the morning glory butterfly. The tree is covered in spiny elm caterpillars but this is the only chrysalis.
