Field Notes

Description:

This is a picture of different mosses, sediment pieces, twigs, sticks, pebbles, and rocks on top of a wetland.

Habitat:

This is a picture taken in Spring Lake, New Jersey right after a very large rainstorm.

Notes:

I took this picture right after a big rain storm. Although the land appears to be hard and solid, it was actually quite mushy, soggy, easy to break apart, and wet.

Hi emily, these are green algae rather than mosses. :)
