Field Notes

Description:

This spider lives on the outside of our bedroom window. I see it there almost every night. It's pretty large- including the legs it's a little larger than a quarter. I don't know what type of spider it is and this is a picture of it's top side from inside our room. So, it is wedged between the window and it's web.

Habitat:

The back side of our building is mostly wooded with lots of random plants. It doesn't get tons of sun because of all the trees. The window the spider seems to live in has lots of flying insects b/c we leave the light on there all the time.
