Found just off-trail at Glacier National Park.

I can only add that it was found growing proximal to several Lodgepole pines that were succumbing to beetle damage.
Hey! Based on the grannulous stipe and cracked pileal surface, I believe you have found a Bolete from the Leccinum group. On first sight I'd say L. duriusculum (Slate bolete), because of the dark ornaments on the stipe and the fibers and cracks on the cap. But to id it 100% correctly, you'll need to know what tree it was standing by, and whether the color of the flesh changes (and if it does, which color it turns into) when it's exposed to oxygen.
