Description:

A giant wasp attacked an Asian giant honey bee while it was gathering nectar from a clove flower. The wasp dwarfed the size of the Asian giant honey bee by a third.

Habitat:

Cloves plantation near patches of secondary and primary forests

Notes:

I am tempted to say that it is the Warrior Wasp Sulawesi. The flower is from the same tree as the picture in the following link: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/12784539. It might as well be the same individual.
