Description:

I have no idea what this is. It looks like a praying mantis nymph. It measured about 3/4" long.

Habitat:

Tropical wet forest in NW Costa Rica

Notes:

I was lucky to see this at all. It was almost completely transparent.

I think it may be some a Thread-legged bug of some sort. Most likely a rain forest member not found here in North America. But similar to these: http://bugguide.net/node/view/213/bgpage
