Field Notes

Description:

White-topped mushroom with a darker stem and dark brown gills. Top flesh is flaky and peels a little bit.

Habitat:

Very hot, rainy weather, but the mushroom was partially shaded by a tree. Well-drained soil.

Notes:

Some kind of agaricus?
