Field Notes

Description:

This jumping spider has a body length of just 6mm. This is a female and always on guard of her nest. It never leaves far from her nest, an attitude which i think sometimes starves this very protective mother.

Habitat:

Secondary forest, forest margins, cultivated and populated areas.
