Description:

I've only spotted this guy one time and he caught my attention because he was a rare visitor to my nectar feeder....His beak and coloring are pretty distinctive, but I haven't been able to ID him....I apologize for the poor photo quality.

Any ideas..??

Habitat:

Coastal Southern California.

Yes I agree with Ashley. Though the images are dark, the 3rd image shows the the orange facial stripes clearly in the light and the 2nd image shows the colored face and breast. Colors can range from yellow, orange and red.
