Description:

This little fellow is gathering nectar from a red yucca plant. This was taken during the summer in Las Vegas, NV. I don't know what species it is but they loved my garden. I had a few of them flying around. Could someone help to identify it? Otherwise I call it Red Dragonfly on Red Yucca. Thank you.

Habitat:

Arid, desert climate. Zones 8-10. Las Vegas, Nevada.
