Notes:

This fellow showed up shortly after we installed a limestone water fountain. I live within 500ft of Shoal Creek, so amphibians are common for this area. This is the first time I noticed this particular species. If you look closely at the lighter color bands along the sides, there are little ridges that look like spikes when they puff up.
