Field Notes

Description:

Beautiful flower. It was bright and blooming with black dots all over the yellow petals, which were framed with soft pale pink petals. I wish I knew what it was!

Habitat:

I found it in my backyard. It was blooming in summer on a hot day, surrounded by weeds and unblooming rose bushes.

Notes:

It was a gorgeous flower! I think it's common, for I have seen it in other places.
