Description:

2 mm diameter eggs on the underside of a red maple leaf in our butterfly garden. So sign of the former occupants!

Dez, these are about 300 feet away from where I found the false potato bug larva & I suspect these may be moth eggs - hopefully polyphemus moths as I found the caterpillar s of that species in the same tree last year - I shall be watching closely!
i would guess this might be the egg shells of those little false potato bugs? wild guess!
