Description:

Looks like usual ladybug but the colour's green with patternless small white sprinkles on its wing-shells. Head to tail-end length: 9.00mm.

Notes:

Spotted this warm sunny afternoon a green ladybug, never seen before. It was moving around tirelessly till it found this wooden chip where it rested peacefully.

Hi Doc.. I'm wondering why you are calling this a ladybug (Coccinellidae). Could it not be a 'leaf beetle' (Chrysomelidae) or Cassidinae?
Thanks Emilie for the lovely comments. It's still nameless! Experts help, pl.
Thanks Jason for the comment, and making it favourite. Still anticipating an ID!
Thanks for the comments mauna. That's the most expensive apple!
The shell pattern reminds me a lot of a green apple.
Thanks CindyBinghamKeiser, RiekoS and sara in the woods for favouriting it.
