Description:

I found this female jumping spider while taking photos of another spotting (the possible Saskatoon-berries). She was very protective of her nest, and she ran up my hand when I took hold of the branch to photograph the nest with my iPhone. The other 3 where shot with my Pentax.

Habitat:

Diverse woods near a small lake.
