Hi skarma & welcome to Project Noah! I have corrected the location for you on this occasion but in future please can you type in the exact location or manually drag the pin into place. Thanks!
The polyturator does occur in PEI so that ia probaly it. The female lays her eggs on the grub of the May beetle with her long abdomen. Welcome to the club.
Thank you, 1skarma. Just write the address on the proper location in the map, and click on the search button, ok?
Thank you both. Location should be fixed. Morell, Prince Edward Island, Canada
1skarma, welcome to Project Noah. What you spotted is a Pelecinid wasp, possibly Pelecinus polyturator. The position indicated in the map looks awkward, as it is in the middle of the sea. Could you please fix it, indicating where exactly you spotted this? Thank you.
