Field Notes

Description:

Appears to be the same or similar species as the previous spotting I uploaded.
Pretty tall.
Has an "inverted" shaped cap with a bulge- presumably because of the stem- in the middle.
I believe it has gills.
Off-white to tan in color. The cap is darker, and the stem and gills are lighter, with the edges and bulge of the cap being ever so slightly lighter than the middle.
Toppled over. Has some holes and chunks taken out of it on the cap and stem.

Habitat:

Found on a hike in the woods, in a mostly shady area.
Many mushrooms had popped up from the all the recent rain and humidity.

Notes:

Features a slug and snail as our special guests!
Note: I do not have the exact coordinates for this spotting, I apologize.
