Description:

These "balls" grow on some pine branches . I put it under fungi but I really don't know what it is.

Habitat:

Oak and pine forest

Galls are usually caused by insect larvae, but I'm not sure about "rusts"; I suspect those may be caused by fungi.

Luis, I would think it is some sort of gall (maybe a rust gall) rather than a fungus.
