You actually can't visually distinguish them at all, they are both highly variable species. If you live in an area that has both species, the only way to tell them apart is by call or chromosome count

Looks like you have a Gray Tree Frog. There are actually two, very similar species and it would be hard to tell the difference from just these two pictures. http://www.michigan.gov/dnr/0,4570,7-153-10370_12145_12201-60110--,00.html
