Field Notes

Description:

This is a flower found in Magdalena, Colombia as we were hiking into the first camp site of Ciudad Perdida where there were many of these flowers growing next to a river.

Habitat:

The habitat of this flower was in a valley where there is the most amount of flora in the world. This is because these mountains are the only ones to have all the thermal floors, therefore creating an enriching environment for all plants. This specific flower was in a place where there was a lot of sun and moisture.

Notes:

The flower seems to start off as a white blossom and later spreads its petals and they become pink (maybe).
